Our Board

Jennifer Wakeman (President) is the host of In Your Neighborhood, a monthly newsmagazine that airs on CCN Channel 8. She has lived in Central PA since 1995 and has served as President of several area non-profits including the Susquehanna Valley Chorale and Glenpool Club, Inc. before joining RiverStage Community Theatre. Jennifer holds a B.S. in psychology from Washington & Lee University. She has appeared in MACT productions including Nunsense, Into The Woods, Nuncrackers, Chicago, and Jekyll & Hyde, and most recently directed MACT’s productions of Over the River and Through the Woods and Flywheel, Shyster and Flywheel.

Daniel Brehm
(Artistic Adviser) has been actively involved in theatre for the past 30 years as a performer, choreographer and director. Having worked in professional, regional, dance, community and educational theatre has given Dan a diverse perspective to serve on RiverStage’s board of directors.  This season, he was happy to co-direct Flywheel, Shyster and Flywheel with his friend Jennifer Wakeman and pleased to be working with such a talented pool of individuals from the surrounding communities.

 

Barbra (Barbie) Steinhurst (Managing Director) has taught at and worked with several local institutions of higher education and nonprofits in both financial and non-financial roles, including Pennsylvania College of Technology, Susquehanna University, Bucknell University, and the Susquehanna Valley Community Education Council.  She likes to think of herself as all the “Barbies” that never came in a pink box: Math Teacher Barbie, Accounting Barbie, Program Director Barbie, Wife and Mother Barbie, etc.  She has appeared in productions of Arsenic and Old Lace, Cheaper by the Dozen, Kiss Me Kate, and most recently worked backstage and onstage with North Carolina’s Theatre on a Stick and locally with Gaspipe Theatre Company.

 

Jove Graham (Communications Director) received his B.A. in Theatre Studies from Swarthmore College, has worked behind the scenes or onstage at People’s Light & Theatre Company (Malvern, PA), Montgomery Playhouse (Gaithersburg, MD), Bucknell University, and is a graduate of the Arden Theatre Company’s APA professional apprenticeship program (Philadelphia, PA) with an emphasis in marketing and production.  He has appeared in two MACT productions (A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, Jekyll & Hyde), and works as a researcher at the Geisinger Center for Health Research.

 

Mary Ann Stanton (Development Director) lives in Lewisburg, PA with her husband Ryan and two children, and works for her alma mater, Bucknell University as an associate director of development.   A theatre major in college, Mary Ann is pleased to have the opportunity to combine her professional expertise with her passion, theatre.
