Sarah Bell (Treasurer) became interested in theatre as a youngster in Lenox, MA when her church put on several productions of two plays written and directed by William Gibson. After volunteering, and then working, in many roles at Shakespeare & Company in Lenox throughout her teen years, she decided to study theatre and received her Bachelor degrees in Theatre and Management at Indiana University in Bloomington, IN. She started off as a Box Office Manager for Nickerson Theatre, south of Boston, but soon started working (and still does) in higher education as a counselor and administrator. She enjoyed her experiences in college and community theatre productions in Bloomington, Indiana, Titusville, PA, and Morris, MN until 1998 and (very gratefully) became involved again when RiverStage started up in 2012. Most recently, she was seen on stage as Martha in The Secret Garden.

Peter Wiley has been involved in theatre in one way or another since he appeared in Indiana University’s production of Sophocles’ Antigone at the age of seven. He later studied theatre as an undergraduate at IU, serving on the production staff of the university’s Brown County Playhouse. His experience in educational theatre includes work on various productions at The University of Hawaii, Hilo, The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, and The University of Massachusetts, Amherst. A resident of Lewisburg since 1997, Wiley has served as a member of the Lewisburg Area School Board and the Fireboard of the William Cameron Engine Company. At RiverStage, he has directed Oleanna, Cyrano and The Secret Garden and designed countless others.

For RiverStage, he has directed A Raisin In the Sun, A Streetcar Named Desire, several one-act plays, and most recently Twelve Angry Men.

Anne Griffin has been a registered nurse (RN) for all of her adult life, a career that has taken her around the world and back again. Growing up in Harrisburg, she loved attending community theatre performances. She has spent quality time backstage with the Lewisburg costuming experts, particularly at the high school level, and has more recently enjoyed time on the stage, appearing in Anne of Green Gables and Spamalot. In nearing retirement, she enjoys working with RiverStage as it continues to offer the region stimulating, thought-provoking and amusing entertainment.
