FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q: I am a “member” of other arts organizations. Is being a “subscriber” the same thing as a “member”?
A: Basically, yes. But because RiverStage only produces a few shows per year, it is a little different than being a “member” of, say, the Campus Theatre that shows movies almost every night year-round. Being a subscriber to RiverStage means that: (1) you receive a ticket to all mainstage shows for a discounted price; (2) you receive recognition in our programs; and (3) you enjoy ticket exchange privileges that regular single-ticket buyers do not normally receive. We do not currently offer different “levels of membership,” but if you would like to make a tax-deductible donation to RiverStage in addition to (or instead of) becoming a subscriber, we would certainly welcome that support as well!
Q: What if I order a subscription now but have to switch my tickets to a different date? For example, I sign up to come on a Friday night, but I have to switch to Sunday?
A: No problem! As a subscriber, one of your benefits is that you can always contact us up to 24 hours before the show and let us know that you need to exchange your ticket for a different performance.
Q: What if something arises and I can’t attend at all? Can someone else use my ticket?
A: Absolutely. We do not offer refunds, but you can always transfer your tickets to a friend or family member. If you get your tickets mailed to you, there is no need to notify us. Or, if your tickets are being held at the box office, simply notify us at least 24 hours in advance and we will change the names on the ticket(s).
